It is a very scary experience needing to place a loved one in a skilled nursing facility, and we struggled with the choice. My mom has only been at Pine Creek for a few days, but thus far it has exceeded our expectations. Intake with all departments was thorough and professional and- with one or two exceptions- response to her (frequent!) pushing of the “call button” was prompt. There is a set daily menu as well as a list of regular substitutions, and my extremely picky mother is pleasantly surprised with the food. We are fortunate to be there daily and we’ve certainly put the staff through their paces. They have been patient and kind as we try to adapt to their system. One concern is the weekend, which seems to be less staff and has limited PT and OT. That said, while she might be a bit bored and lonely, I know her basic needs will be met and she will be safe and taken care of when we are not there.

My grandpa is at Pine Creek Care Center and I just have to say all of the staff are fantastic. All of the staff including all of the nurses have taken such great care of him and I couldnt be happier! Thank you all so much!

Sunshine, Alex, and Cheryl were all so amazing with my dad the last few days. He speaks highly of the Pine Creek staff who take care of him day in and day out. Hey may be grumpy at times, but he speaks to how grateful he for the staff. Thank you.

The diversity of this place is non existent

Unfortunately I’ve visited friends and church members at many of the local ‘skilled nursing’/’recovery’ facilities like ‘Pine Creek Care Center’. So it’s with some comparative experience that I can say this is clearly a ‘top notch’ choice and I’m sure it has bills for patients to match….

We had a loved one go to Pine Creek. We chose Pine Creek after looking at other places. When we made our choice, we prayed and hoped that our first impression would come true. Well, it was not a fairy tale. Things did come true. The facility is clean and hums like a cruise ship. Of course it is not a cruise ship. It is a place where people go with needs. Where people come for help. We needed help. We needed people to reach us. And they did. They are amazing. They are kind. They are transparent. They are consistent. They have strong resources in terms of people, services, and a unifying sense of purpose throughout the facility. There are programs throughout the day that give the residents choices on what to do and activities, etc. They are positive. And in our experience, they were positive in every situation we found ourselves in. The therapy was life changing. That is a strong phrase however? You go to a place like Pine Creek when your life has changed, and you are hoping to somewhat change it back. We would also like to recognize Ashley, the social worker, who kept us informed and also gave us a strong foundation in terms of awareness of what was going on with our case, what our choices were, and what resources were available to us. We trusted them. And they did not let us down. Thank you, Pine Creek!

My mother is there for rehabilitation for her broken ankle and she is often being ignored, and her exercises to enable her to walk again are often skipped.

We went to visit our 98 year old friend today. She has only been at your facility for two days but she loves your place! The food is delicious, great coffee, excellent service, friendly staff. She said it’s better than a five star hotel!

Visited a client today and it was really nice. It might’ve been nicer than the place next-door. The staff was amazing and sweet and the patients there looked like they were able to keep busy

This was another poor example of how to take care of the elderly. Pine Creek was clean and well staffed. However, I was told clearly that there was onsite LPN, later to find out on call RN and DR. Visitation. Pine Creek was over capacity, too busy to notice the requested needs of patients. My mom was there for a short period of time, and never saw the rehab since she needed extra care. While admitted in the SNF she developed a provoked blood clot and had to be rushed to the hospital directly. The Director of Nursing rarely was available and out of office for days at a time. Called and called with no return messages. Lastly, the communication was poor and often times not at all. Since I was not able to be on site that made things very challenging. Dr. was hard to understand and only was on site on Sunday evening. All other times via phone or electronically. Labs too two days to review with little notes. Again, I must mention lack of communication and poor notes transferred between nursing staff. I do not recommend this facility for orthopaedic or post surgery care.

The staff and the PT and OT were first rate. But i only begrudgingly give the admin department one star

Horrible place do not send your loved ones here. I’ve walked in to see my Grandmother and she was crying because she was in pain and no one came in to check on her. This has happened several times. When I call, they don’t answer the phone and when they do, I’m put on hold for five or more minutes. We are going to take my Grandma out of this place

First thing noticed is how clean the facility is, how good it smells! Then how friendly and helpful the staff is. There is a definite atmosphere of health and life! You can see rehabis going on here!

Clean and well staffed. Friendly staff. Clean restroom. Would be nice to have more than one check in monitor for entry passes.🤠

My mom and my MIL have both stayed here and compared to all the others this is the best. Everyone is very nice and it’s clean. From my experiences i recommend.

Very nice in and out. The staff is very pleasant and knowledgeable.

The staff has all been very caring and polite to my sister . I appreciate the care they are giving her.

UPDATE: The kitchen can’t possibly be making meals according to the nutritionist on site! After 2 months of poor quality food, it’s no wonder some of the patients deteriorate. This picture is the dinner for a Diabetic/Low Carb, heart healthy requirement. Need I say more. This facility has been wonderful for my best friend. The front reception is spectacular! She always welcomes us when we come to visit. The social services team is caring and have compassion for the patients in residence. There does seem to be a staffing shortage, but I think that is the industry. There were a few very large issues in the first 12 hours, but they were resolved and handled by management. The food could be better, but it’s better than some of the other facilities we checked out.
