I was transferred to this facility in 12/31/2019 from Rogue Valley Medical Center in Medford Or. I had back surgery from an injury at Pelican Bay State Prison. One call transferred me to this Facility. I don’t want to share in detail what I endured at the hands of the facility because it is embarrassing, so I will simply say…. at all cost do do not put your Love ones here….. it is worse than BAD!!! THEY ADDED 2 FIVE STARS REVIEWS…LOL… So I see the facility added to wonderful reviews to combat mine. We’ll now I will share just one embarrassing moment!!! After being transferred there from Medford Oregon I had feces all over me. I had asked one of the attendants there if I could shower because I had crap all over me and he told me that I would have to wait 4 days to take a shower because based on my room number Thursday was my day for showering. I don’t know if I was being lied to. This person told me everyone showers once a week. So I had to wash myself in the bathroom sink… there were a lot of other disturbing situations….

This place is top notch. Their employees have so much compassionate and care. Our mom was in a catastrophic car accident and left her immobile and she stayed here for three months. Everyone here bent over backwards to make sure she got the best care. The nurses, Dr. and CNA’s were so patient and attentive to all of her needs. The Physical therapy and Wound care teams were so kind and supportive helping her to recover so she could go home. Even Cindy the stylist was so sweet and made mom feel good to get her hair washed once a week. We wish we could personally thank each one by name but the list is so many. We are so grateful for their willingness to help us through this hard time.

Staff is friendly and covers every need a patient might have

Some of the female employees are bullies. They use bullying tactics too. I highly recommend taking the negative reviews seriously. I too thought that the advertising meant that this place had quality stuff but they turned out to be very unprofessional, one staff member turned out to be a bully. The staff don’t listen to family members resulting in staff imagining medical issues that don’t exist. They cause problems with their “what-if” pejorative way of thinking instead of being rational and practical and using professional methods of critical thinking instead of emotional dysfunctional thinking. Sometimes they don’t respond to help a person to use the bathroom and some of nurses don’t change the dressings according to doctors order success I don’t know why they have unprofessional mediocre people such as this at this place but having mediocre staff is common.

My wife and I have had several relatives stay at Pine Creek, and we’ve always found the staff to be friendly and helpful. More recently, I’ve also visited as a notary to assist residents with their documents. Whether visiting family or helping residents, Pine Creek has consistently been a pleasant and welcoming place.

So far my Moms stay has been pleasant. Her care by Mykos especially has made all the difference! He’s a caring young man with respect for the Elderly.

My mom was here for 2 months and the staff were very caring and supportive. They went above and beyond for her colostomy bags and were efficient with bathing and cleaning my mom right away. The food was good and they treated my mom respectfully. They were accommodating to appointments and chemo. I felt like I didn’t have to worry. Colby, the director was always responsive. The DO was on top of ordering supplies for my mom, the nurses were helpful and genuine, Shannon showed so much compassion and the social worker helped coordinate transportation and medical equipment for home. I hope everyone has as good as an experience as we did with physical therapy, the facility and the staff.

The staff is very helpful and friendly. I’m a Notary living close by, so I am called to come over for the residents quite often. The front desk would print a map and highlight where to go for me. And whoever on the hallway will help me with the short cuts to my parking spot when I leave.

Pine Creek staff took great care of me!! The PT team is AWESOME! I especially, would like to mention Claudia, one of the CNA’s. She was always available and more than willing to help me with anything, and I do mean ANYTHING 😀

The Pine Creek Staff took great care of my Mother in Law until the day she passed. They truly loved her.

Staff is friendly and they truly care about their clients.

It is a very scary experience needing to place a loved one in a skilled nursing facility, and we struggled with the choice. My mom has only been at Pine Creek for a few days, but thus far it has exceeded our expectations. Intake with all departments was thorough and professional and- with one or two exceptions- response to her (frequent!) pushing of the “call button” was prompt. There is a set daily menu as well as a list of regular substitutions, and my extremely picky mother is pleasantly surprised with the food. We are fortunate to be there daily and we’ve certainly put the staff through their paces. They have been patient and kind as we try to adapt to their system. One concern is the weekend, which seems to be less staff and has limited PT and OT. That said, while she might be a bit bored and lonely, I know her basic needs will be met and she will be safe and taken care of when we are not there.

My grandpa is at Pine Creek Care Center and I just have to say all of the staff are fantastic. All of the staff including all of the nurses have taken such great care of him and I couldnt be happier! Thank you all so much!

Sunshine, Alex, and Cheryl were all so amazing with my dad the last few days. He speaks highly of the Pine Creek staff who take care of him day in and day out. Hey may be grumpy at times, but he speaks to how grateful he for the staff. Thank you.

The diversity of this place is non existent

Unfortunately I’ve visited friends and church members at many of the local ‘skilled nursing’/’recovery’ facilities like ‘Pine Creek Care Center’. So it’s with some comparative experience that I can say this is clearly a ‘top notch’ choice and I’m sure it has bills for patients to match….

My mother is there for rehabilitation for her broken ankle and she is often being ignored, and her exercises to enable her to walk again are often skipped.

We went to visit our 98 year old friend today. She has only been at your facility for two days but she loves your place! The food is delicious, great coffee, excellent service, friendly staff. She said it’s better than a five star hotel!

Visited a client today and it was really nice. It might’ve been nicer than the place next-door. The staff was amazing and sweet and the patients there looked like they were able to keep busy

This was another poor example of how to take care of the elderly. Pine Creek was clean and well staffed. However, I was told clearly that there was onsite LPN, later to find out on call RN and DR. Visitation. Pine Creek was over capacity, too busy to notice the requested needs of patients. My mom was there for a short period of time, and never saw the rehab since she needed extra care. While admitted in the SNF she developed a provoked blood clot and had to be rushed to the hospital directly. The Director of Nursing rarely was available and out of office for days at a time. Called and called with no return messages. Lastly, the communication was poor and often times not at all. Since I was not able to be on site that made things very challenging. Dr. was hard to understand and only was on site on Sunday evening. All other times via phone or electronically. Labs too two days to review with little notes. Again, I must mention lack of communication and poor notes transferred between nursing staff. I do not recommend this facility for orthopaedic or post surgery care.
